Unhappy with the status of the Wolf's Dragoons, in 3025 the Watch of Clan Jade Falcon initiated Operation Stray Dog. They sent a lone operative into the inner sphere to found a mercenary company, survey the situation, and report back directly to their clan.

Thus Ergun Roshak found himself at the head of a small and brand new mercenary unit, the Emerald Cast. 

His mission:

• Complete a contract with each of the great houses

• Prioritize missions that destabilize the Inner Sphere in preparation for an eventual invasion

• Survey the Wolf's Dragoons
